PURWOCENG : APHROSIDIAC INDIGENOUS FROM INDONESIA

      Purwoceng is a plant origin from Indonesia. This plant is one of  native herbal for aphrosidiac purpose. Purwoceng have grew endemically at Dieng plateau, Wonosobo, Central Java. First time, this plant found wild grow in Dieng plateau (Central Java), environs Pangrango mountain (West-Java) and a few mountain area in East Java at elevaled place about 1800-3000 masl. Several name of this plant as known as in the deep area are antanan, purwoceng, purwoaceng, suripandak abang, and gebangan. The Latin name is Pimpinella pruatjan Molk. The genus  like a celery.
